A reimagined book cover design for the classic novel Anne of Green Gables. The goal was to capture the warmth, nostalgia, and timeless spirit of the story while giving it a whimsical aesthetic.

The first step was to create a simple mock-up of my design to create a redesign of the beloved novel Anne of Green Gables. I chose this project because it’s my favourite book. The theme I was aiming for was nostalgia and whimsical feel.

To achieve a nostalgic feeling, a custom drawing was carefully created, capturing the warmth and innocence of childhood that is central to Anne of Green Gables. The illustration emphasizes soft, whimsical details, from the rolling landscapes of Prince Edward Island to the playful, imaginative spirit of Anne herself.

By using hand-drawn elements and a gentle, muted color palette, the design evokes a sense of nostalgia, inviting readers to reconnect with the charm and wonder of childhood adventures. Every element of the cover was intentionally crafted to reflect the timeless, heartwarming essence of this beloved classic.
